This group is planning on creating artwork using only trash collected on campus and at school to bring awareness to littering on school premises.

They have already started collecting trash and will start putting it all together after February vacation.

LGB THRIFTIN'

LGB THRIFTIN'

Nora Salem, Hannie Durham Arnold, Alia Davies, Klara Melvin, Eda Bilen, Anna Toft, Smilla Aeihaussen

Their main goal is to start a school based thrift shop - in which proceeds will go towards environmental charities.

They have already created Instagram page which aims to spread awareness about the harm of fast fashion and the benefits of thrift shopping. 

They are currently working on a website with would include suggestions of where to shop sustainably for clothes, as well as DIYs to upcycle clothes. They would also include a link to donate clothes.

CAR FREE FRIDAY

Caroline Keller

This project aims to promote a reduction in the school's carbon footprint by inciting both teachers and students to come to school by foot, bike, or public transportation instead of cars. 

Their plan is to put up posters around campus with the help of PTA funding.

Their aim is to spread awareness on campus about the importance of living a more sustainable lifestyle. They're putting a poster together which has simple, accessible tasks that can be implemented in students' daily lives.​
